This little long haired kitten appeared in our yard on 11/27. It was going to rain early in the morning on Monday so mom brought him in. Mom took him to the vet that Friday and got him checked out. He got his shots and dewormer. He started to get rectal prolapse so mom took him again to the vet to get checked out. After the vet appointment the prolapse got worse and wouldn't go back in by itself. So Albus the new kitten had to have purse string rectal surgery on a Saturday morning at a new vet. Then he got constipated and mom had to bring him back to the vet on a Thursday to get an enema. The vet had to remove he sutures 5 days early. Mom was worried but albus is doing fine! We didn't know we were gonna have a new family member for Christmas! He sure is cute. He's a long hair blue tabby with white. He may even have some Maine Coon in him. Love and purrs, Gimli

Albus says thank new! Hes doing great! It was scary though. Mom feeds him grain free canned food Purina Beyond and mixes it with a little warm water. She still puts a little bit of miralax in his food every morning.

Dad calls him our "thousand-dollar kitten". Mom and Dad were off work the day after they found him. Mom thought about bringing him to the city shelter. I think dad got attached to him quickly.
