Good question, Twinkle!
I would explore the big closet that Mom won't let me go into. I would open the fridge and sample the food inside that Mom won't let me have. Then I would check out all the other high places that I currently can't reach, like the kitchen cabinets and the bookshelves.

This week's question comes from Twinkle--
What is the most naughty thing you have ever done?

I've been so busy, I never got to my answer other question.
If I could be human for a day, I'd want to talk to Mommy to tell her the things she does that I love & hate & tell her how I feel about her. I'd do this while we were taking a girls road trip to the casinos she loves to go to. I've heard her mention them so much she's got me curious as to what exactly they are & what is so great about these things called slot machines & blackjack tables, etc. I'd also want to see what is so special about malls, strip malls, outlet malls, etc. I have to check out these things called restaurants as well with Mommy by my side.
I'll answer the naughty question later on.

Meow, well, I am a good kitty! I don't even scratch furniture!
True, I sometimes give love bites, but I don't really consider that naughty. (Sorry, mom's nose, if I bit you a little too hard! *giggles*)

You are a good kitty, Lily! Do you need some naughty tips? *giggles* One of the naughtiest things I've done was the time when I was still a kitten that I pulled a curtain down onto the floor. At least Mom thought it was naughty - I was pretty proud of myself!

I was a terror for the first year I was with Mommy. Whenever I got mad, I'd attack Mommy biting at her feet, legs, you name it! I mean I'd go into full fledged attack mode & keep coming at her! I think this was because I had pervious owners before her that I got attached to & loved. I thought I had my forever home, but they just dumped me at the shelter one day. It took me a while to trust Mommy. I still to this day don't like for her to leave for work. It took me a long time to feel like I wasn't going to be abandoned again.

You, abandoned, Twinkle?! I can hardly believe it! TUESDAY QUESTION--December 20 For most of us, winter is here! What's your favorite way of staying warm?

My favorite way to stay warm is to snuggle up with Mom. During the winter, I sleep next to her almost every night. I also like to burrow under the bedcovers.

Yes Lily, I had previous owners who left me at a shelter. Thank goodness Mommy came along & adopted me!I'm with Coco. I like snuggling with Mommy. I sleep with her practically every night too.

Twinkle, the same thing happened to my older brofur, Apollo, who died in 2006. He and his brofur were dumped at a shelter by their human. They were supposed to be adopted together, but his brofur was adopted after a week or so and he wasn't--the whole experience, as you might imagine, was devastating for him. In the space of a week he lost his human, his home, and his brofur. When mom and dad found him at the shelter, he was a very sad kitty!
He died young--he was only seven when he contracted lymphoma, and the chemotherapy didn't help him. But at least he had five happy years with mom and dad, who doted on him.

Awww, that IS sad about your older brother. At our shelter, if they see the cats are bonded, they will only adopt them together. They may be in the shelter longer that way, but they are together.
My favorite way of staying warm? If it's not REAL cold, I go out on the front porch. When I start getting cold I come in and onto Mom to warm up my toes. That's Mom's nickname for me: Mr. Cold Toes! Once my toes are warm, out on the porch I go until they get cold again; then back on Mom, then out on the porch -- until she closes the window!

*giggles* It's certainly convenient to have a human toe-warmer!
I like to keep warm at night by sleeping between my humans' heads and snuggling into the nice, new, soft down pillow dad bought for himself a couple of weeks ago. Yes, yes, I know; he bought it because his neck was bothering him and he's hardly been able to use it at all because I take up most of the space on it, but so what? A kitty being warm and comfy is more important. Dad just has to "man up," as the humans say, and find a different way to deal with his sore neck. I lick it for him occasionally--that should be good enough.
