Mom prefers her tomatoes raw. She just slices them and eats them.
It's round steak. It's coated, like you might do fried chicken. So maybe not that healthy, LOL.

You mean crumbed round steak? We do not have it here in Oz. May be we have crumbed veal. Is it common in your area to crumb everything and then deep fry it?

Yes. We call it chicken fried steak, since it's prepared similar to fried chicken. It's a popular dish in the south here and especially in Texas. Usually it's served with cream gravy, but Mom skipped that tonight. Not everything, but we do fry a few things, LOL.

Yes, time for me to go. Mom needs to clean up the kitchen and get ready for bed. Have a great week and see you next weekend!

Hi, Tobbie and Momo! Mom and Coco are doing well, hope your family is, too. We'll check out the clips and see you soon.
Mom is jealous of your cool weather. It's definitely summertime here, getting into the 90s most days.

We've had so much rain the past month that Mom hasn't had to water her plants either, until about now. We've had a few days of hot dry weather so they'll be needing it.

The plants grow slowly now. Mum thinks she had made a mistake. She should put the plants on the other side of the backyard because there are more sun and the plants love sun. But she has to dig out the plants on that side first. So, she is lazy and give up such idea

I know you have 2 plants on the door entrance. Are they supposed to be sheltered?

Yes, somewhat, I think. They don't need too much direct sunlight. They get the morning sun before it gets too hot, and then are mostly shaded the rest of the day. If Mom put them in the back, they would get the hot afternoon sun on them most of the day. The front porch works best for them.

But are the plants indoor plants? If yes, it needs to be sheltered and cannot be with the sun, except a bit of morning sun

They probably would be considered indoor plants, so that's why Mom keeps them in front where they're mostly sheltered except for some morning sun.
