For the rub:
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 1/2 tablespoons paprika
1/2 tablespoon salt or to taste
1 1/2 tablespoons ground black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon of herbs of choice
Mix all together and rub all over the ribs let them sit for an hour or overnight.
Ribs
2 racks pork ribs (our favorite are baby back ribs, but this works well with St. Louis style ribs too) 1 cup barbecue sauce
Directions:
1 Preheat oven to 225 degrees. 2 Season your ribs with Dale's marinade, your favorite rib rub, grill seasoning, or simply salt and pepper. 3 Place ribs, meat side down, in baking dishes. 4 Cover the baking dishes with aluminum foil and place in the oven. 5 If you are using small baby back ribs, take out after 3.5 hours. If you are using regular baby back or St. Louis style ribs, then take out after 4 hours. 6 Drain off the drippings. Flip the ribs over using two spatulas (and an extra set of hands if you have them) so the meat side is up. Be careful, as they may be so tender they fall apart. 7 Put a layer of BBQ sauce on the ribs and return to the oven uncovered for an additional 20-30 minutes. 8 Remove from oven and serve them up with a side of potato salad and some baked beans.

you add all the ingredients of the rub together then rub it all over the ribs until they are covered with it

Rub them in, like ya rub lotion on your hands, like, until it absorbs on to your hands?

sorta like that, yeah, it will change color because as you rub it in it absorbs the liquid from the ribs so it sticks to it. Just cover the ribs with the rub all over like you are applying lotion to it.

This is just like we make them Macy- they are SO good! We use honey, brown sugar and Parkay margarine instead of BBQ sauce- maybe you'll try that!

No matter your cat’s diet or age, oven-baked food helps it stay healthy.
