Yeah, mom is leaving the patriotic music on the “Sounds of the Season” TV channel turned all the way up, because sometimes an extra loud firework wakes up Vinny. She doesn’t want him to start getting scared of them.
Lily, good for you for feeling safe in your palace!

Poor Amber -- That's terrible. Yeah, we have people in our neighborhood who shoot off fireworks on New Years and July 4. This past New Years was pretty bad.

Lily, that's good you know you're safe. I was much the same way. Poor Coco is so skittish. She runs even if the mail carrier just comes to the door, knocks and leaves a package outside.

*the A Team trots in*
Apollo and I weren't afraid of fireworks. We actually sat out on the front porch to watch them!

Maybe Coco thinks it’s a mail bomb
A-team, Hooray for you sitting on the porch to watch them! Rosco used to watch them for a few minutes, and then he would get bored and do something else.

Hi, Ætheling, hi, Felix!
Well, that was before the guy with all the fireworks for WW III moved in. It lasted less than 30 minutes.

I just heard this song on the Sounds of the Season TV channel. I never heard it before. But I do like Johnny Horton music!

Isn't it Johnny Horton who sings The Battle of New Orleans? Never heard this one.
*puts a kabob on his plate, along with a pawfull of fried guppies, grabs a beer and tap dances with Jimmy Cagney to under the chandelier and leaps up to join Ætheling*

Yes, he sang that, and North to Alaska, and Sink the Bismarck. Good songs!
Wow, Aragorn, you are almost as good a dancer as Cagney!!!
Nice to have you join me up here on the chandelier.

Oh, and he sang Sink the Bismark. Mom has that record, too.
