Hi, my 19 week old furbaby, Athena, was playing with one of her toys and got her whiskers stuck inside. Despite her namesake, she concluded it would be a smart idea to start her famous death roll (like that of an alligator or crocodile) to fend off her attacker. Long story short I removed the toy and she’s back to playing, but her whiskers on one side are bent and twisted up. This must be uncomfortable for her. She doesn’t seem to be in pain, but she’s never been a very vocal kitty in the first place. Will they straighten out on their own? How can I help her?

Hello! Athena should be just fine, bent whiskers don’t really bug them too much, and they aren’t painful either. Sometimes they shed their whiskers, so they’ll be straight again.
Just for a future reference, topics like this should be in Health Questions and Advice, so your topic will be moved. Thank you!
