Thanks, MaryAnn. Sadly, he has Parkinson's Disease, so his health is declining and probably won't get better. My sister recently moved him to a group home when it got to the point she couldn't care for him by herself any longer. He is doing as well as possible.

Thanks, Elaine. It is sad, and it's been rough on both of them. My sister tells me the group home is nice and he's being well cared for. That's at least one burden off of her. She just couldn't do it by herself anymore.
Just heard back from her - she's safe from the fire where she is. Said there wasn't much wind today, so maybe that will help get it under control.

Sorry I was quiet I was swapping out two Cat boxes and you know how that goes having a scrub amount and wash them down

I'm glad he is doing well where he is.
YES! The less wind the better.....hopefully they can get it under control and there will be no loss of life or homes!

I need to scrub out a couple of litter boxes too!!
BTW--David's wife posted on Instagram just now...they are home safe and sound....so the fire must be contained!!! PHEW

They almost lost their home in a fire 4 years ago...it stopped just 10 feet from their door!!!!!
