I'll never have to worry about Coco eating me out of house and home. I'm trying to get her to eat more.
The vet bills might get me, though. She just went in to get a steroid shot for her skin allergies she gets this time of the year that make her itch and scratch herself to pieces. Also got flea meds and dewormer. She has to go back in a couple of months for her rabies and annual bloodwork. Vet also said she needs dental work and that'll be a big expense (they gave me a quote).

George is my only problem child right now. We were trying steroid pills on him earlier to make him stop over grooming but they didn't work. So now we have to take him into the Vet every month to get a steroid shot since it seems to be the only thing that works.

Coco gets one just once a year. That seems to be enough for her. The vet also suggested giving her the flea meds regularly. Even though she doesn't go outside, the fleas can still find their way inside. They found one or two on her at the vet.
I'm sorry about George. Is it stress related?

They aren't sure if it's his nerves or if it's an allergy they just know that the steroid shot works because he put some massively big spots on his body.

I hope he does get better soon! When I first got Dollie she had a watery eye from stress....the rescue gave me lysine powder to put in her food...cleared it up after a week! Have to do it occasionally since I adopted Marbles

Didn't know you could use lysine for that. Glad it's worked for you. Ladies, I need to get going. I had to work yesterday so I need to do my grocery shopping before it gets much later. Hope y'all have a great week! See you next Sunday.
