She's gotten really dark as she's gotten older, so it's easy to think she could be Burmese.
She's still petite - weighs just under 7 pounds, as of her last vet visit.

We are back. WE have a lot of dust today. Ah... just curious. Do not think your mum open the window often and so the apartment is not too dusty?

She doesn't open the windows often but she still gets dust. She wishes she knew where it all came from.

The dust gets in through the gap between the windows. Dad bought an orchid for mum but it is dying. SO, mum learnt from youtube to take out the orchid and report it. The worst is the soil is too set and all the roosts were rotten. So, mum cut the roots, out some root hormone under the crown and repot it into moss. Hope it will survive because it has not roots at all!! How about your pot plant?

The weather must be very comfortable at your place now? WE are getting hotter and hotter and need to be in aircon.

Tell you something funny about the stupidity of mum. WE installed a solar battery but every 2 to 3 weeks, we have several minutes of power shortage. So mum called the builder and they sent and electrician to have a look. Mum said it has the battery but the power bill does not seem to change much. The electrician looked and the battery and said it was not ON!!! So, he turned it on and redo the app settings. Now mum wait for the next electricity bill and sees what happened.

Mom repotted her ivy into a bigger pot and it seems to be doing okay so far. It could probably use a little more potting soil. She needs to buy another small bag of it.
Weather has been nice here for the most part - highs in the 70s. It's supposed to cool down this next week and have some rain.

When you repot the ivy, please remember to put controlled released fertiliser. They last long and will not burn the plant. There are some new fertilisers for indoor pot plant. You spray them on the foliage (leaves) and the plant will absorb the nutrients. Mum has not tried that before and so cannot tell if it works
