Dad got one that is pretty easy to use you just fill it with water but we have hard water so he uses filtered water

Raw eggs are now a health concern, I think? Mom would rather not eat raw eggs so if they ever go there again, she will ask!

Its raw egg yolk and I think being refrigerated it is fine. They sell it a Ritas Water ice

Yeah, we have hard water, too. Mom doesn't even drink it. Most people around here don't. Everyone buys bottled water. Just about every town around here has its own lake and filtration system but the water tastes either like bleach or the bottom of a fish tank.

I think the only reason you're not supposed to eat raw eggs is because of all the chemicals they feed the chickens. Chemicals are in everything we eat . . . meat and veggies . . . milk and cheese. Even seafood is loaded with chemicals because of pollution.

We have a well but it hasn't been cleaned for over 40 years. The water in the well is dirty and smells like rotten eggs. When mom was little her grandparents (whose house we now live in) drank the well water (it was clean then, 'cause grandpa would clean it) but mom didn't like the taste so her aunt and uncle would bring a jug of "city water" for mom and her mom to drink.

We often wondered about water softening which is removing the hardness but wonder if it is expensive

Sulfur water is very stinky! How does it taste? Our human brother wants to get a water softened with a separate faucet for the regular water. The fridge has filtered water, too. We will see.
Well friends, it's that time so we have to go. Have a good evening, everyone and sleep well. Bye

Plus, all the farmers around here put chemicals on their crops, either for bugs or for weeds. When it rains the water runs off into the ditches which run downhill towards the creeks which run for miles, down to the lakes -- the lakes that supply the towns with water. You get the picture?

Sulfur water has a strange taste to it sort of hard to describe, its supposed to be good for you but it does smell like rotten eggs. We can tell the weather by it when there is a front coming through it will turn black. We are supposed to be getting city water coming through. We have a water system but the water ate through it. Sulfur water corrodes anything metal
