Lets get some discussions going:
What have you found food wise that works best for your furbabies? Or what is the only thing they will eat?

My 5 month old is an orange tabby, anyway he eats absolutely anything. Whatever we eat, he wants some, any kind of cat food will do. He seems healthy so i'm not worried, but I find it unusual, as I've never had a cat like that.

Gracie, I try to steal Rosco's food, too! When he gets his supper I creep up on him. He gets mad. A human usually stands in front of me so Rosco can finish his supper.

We all eat wet Friskies as Dad thinks wet is better than dry. We all like it. Buddy has recently gone back to Fancy Feast dry but he needs to eat due to being ill and Dad says what he likes he gets. We all get a little bit as a treat so Yay Buddy Budd.
After about 6 weeks of FF Buddy's fur is very nice and soft. He looks good and has put on weight even with the Pancreatitis and probable C.

Purina Naturals dry food and Friskies or FF gravy. Except for the time I tried to force her on prescribed kidney this is all she has eaten since we've had her. She is 12 now and healthy. She has the occasional smidgen of chicken or my .RARE steak. She only likes soft treats. Oh and a lick of mayo here and there.

I eat Holistic Select Indoor Health/Weight Control dry food. My dry food is left out 24/7. I get a small amount of wet food in the morning. I eat such a wide variety of wet foods that it's impossible to remember/list them all, but these are the ones I like the most:
Best Feline Friend (BFF)- Tuna & Pumpkin is my favorite Applaws- Tuna & Seaweed is my favorite Earthborn- All flavors except Chicken Catcciatori Mio 9- All of them (I have only been able to find this one at Big Lots)
There are many others. Mommy looks for some kind of meat as the first ingredient. She won't get anything with any by-products, wheat or corn gluten or anything like that. She tries to find food that has fruit & other good healthy & hopefully natural ingredients.
I love Pet 'n Shape cat treats the best. They are natural & awesome, but hard to find.

Hi, I used to have a cat. I like to give him a bit of chocolate and my cat always ask me for it. Then my cat got sick Veterenar said me that the reason is most likely in chocolate. I want to warn you and to tell you about food which are very dangerous for cats. The most dangerous threat it is chocolate. Never give it your cat! Here catspurfection.com/can-cats-eat-chocolate.html you can found more information about this.

My cat eats 1/2 of a Friskies can a day, 1/4 per each meal. We also give her dry food.

I have two cats, one is a pretty picky feline that doesn't eat cheap quality food and the other is a walking garbage can and eats literally everything. Since I'm always looking for quality and especially grain-free food for my picky one, I'm constantly looking for great deals. After I have lost two cats in my life already because they got stomach cancer as seniors, I now pay extra attention to only feed organic & natural food. And sure, it IS more expensive, but in the long run it's worth it, since you'll save that later on in terms of vet expenses. I combine wet and dry food, 2/3s and 1/3 accordingly. I buy my food on catsegory.com and I would never go back to cheap food ever again. Grain-free food without any additives is worth it for me.

I've always fed Fancy Feast (canned chicken pate) to my four cats but they seemed to be getting tired of it so I tried Friskies canned pate (different chicken varieties) and they like it as a change of pace. Now I see on Facebook postings that Friskies canned is now using inferior ingredients.
What does everyone feed? If Friskies, are you changing and to what brand?

Hi Shade, My Mommy always tried to feed me high quality food. I have to be on a special diet now because of my kidney & bladder issues. I found a list of ingredients that should be avoided. They are: • Corn and wheat gluten • Meat and grain meals and by-products • BHA (Butylated Hydroxyanisole) • BHT (Butylated Hydroxytoluene) • Ethoxyquin • Food Dyes (Blue 2, Red 40, Yellow 5 and 6, 4-MIE) • PG (Propylene Glycol) • Rendered fat I know meat should always be the first ingredient if the food is of a good quality. This website has a lot to read through, but I think you'll find some useful information here. www.felineliving.net/best-dry-wet-cat-food/
