Yeah, they usually pop in around midnight.
We've heard it said that English is a hard language to learn.

I remember once reading which languages are supposed to be easier to learn and which are harder to learn, but I don’t remember anymore which was which. I know Chinese is supposed to be difficult for English speakers, because different inflections change the meaning of the words.
I do remember that in an article about which Countries have the fastest spoken languages, rated by how many syllables per minute, French was either at the top or one of the top ones.

To mom, French is a pretty language, but it's not spelled the way it's pronounced.

Yeah, you have to learn different spelling rules in French. Mom took it for eight years in school, and refreshed her memory when she tutored a high school student in French I, But she has forgotten a lot of it now

I meant to ask you, how is your mom feeling with that pinched nerve? Mom has her on her prayer list. Is she feeling any better?

Not really. She went for a Cat Scan Wednesday so the doctor would be getting the results today or Monday. Someone from his office called this morning, telling mom she has an appointment for November 30 ! Mom didn't know anything about it, plus, the way the doctor talked to her the only reason keeping her from surgery was her high blood pressure. She thought as soon as the test results came through she would be given a date for surgery not another meeting the end of next month!

And she's still in pain. The doctor gave her meds for nerve pain and told her if it didn't help she should call in and he would give her something more. She has called in twice that the pain was still bad and never got a call back.

Oh sheesh! When mom’s mom had a pinched nerve in her hip, she went to a chiropractor who gave her physical therapy and that healed it. Has your mom tried a chiropractor?

And not even returning her calls after he told her to call him if she needs more pain medicine. Boo on him.
A lot of people do swear by chiropractors, who can give them relief.

No. When mom's lower back was bad she went to 2 different chiropractors and neither one helped her.

Mom was glad that her friend was with her. She talked to her after the call from the doctor's office and Trudy said the way mom remembered it was correct.

Oh, that is a shame the chiropractors did not help her back. 😔
Mom will keep your mom in prayer. It seems like your mom is getting a lot of runaround.

Yeah. I guess for some reason the doctors don't believe mom is in such pain.
