I dunno! Looking at those BayouBloodyMarys . . . you'll need a different drink after to cool off your throat and mouth!

Here is something less spicy!
Mardi Grass Kiss: Rum, amaretto almond liqueur, simple syrup, pineapple juice, lemon slice.

Hello, Fee! All kinds of food here. Some of it spicy hot. Do you like food that way? Mom says her "gut" doesn't like it!

I am not partial to hot food, but my mom likes it, so I’ll bring some home to her later 😎 How have you all been? It’s been in the high 80s the last few days here.

Wow! That's warm!! It's been warm here, too -- for winter that is. In the upper 50's during the day. And all next week it's supposed to be in the upper 60's. We had really strong winds Wednesday. Mom thought a tornado might come through. The temperature was in the 60's and was dropping quickly and the rain was lashing against the windows. Mom was glad she didn't wash the windows from the outside. The lashing rain did a pretty good job cleaning them off.

Nice weather there till Wednesday. So you got your windows washed the easy way 👍. Good thing you had no tornadoes. They scare Mom more than hurricanes.

Yes, and they come with no warning and so often at night. People are lucky they can get to a safe place.

those are the worst, Athena Where mommy lived in Michigan one came at 3 o’clock in the morning. Everybody in the little town of Lowell woke up with a start and thought they were gonna be hit by a train. It was so loud. Mommy said they all ran into the basement. The next morning they heard that the Lowell Showboat had been flattened, and was just a pile of rubble. It was a sad day in our little town. No casualties, thank goodness.

Mom remembers when she was little and she and her mom were visiting her mom's parents in the house we live in now. A tornado hit the town next to us and the wind was so strong by us that you could hardly walk and stay upright. Grandpa got it in his head that he was going to stand on the front lawn through that tornado's wind. Momsmom went after him to get him back inside. Mom was crying and tried to go after her mom but grandma held her back and dragged her into the basement. Momsmom reached her father and grabbed hold of his belt. The wind was blowing their hair straight back and momsmom and her dad were leaning into the wind and could hardly stand. Grandpa was yelling for momsmom to get back in the house and she yelled at him she wasn't going back without him. If the wind was going to take him, it would take her too, 'cause she wasn't going to let go of him. So grandpa turned to come back with momsmom inside.
