Yep, film noir -- like edgy private detectives in trench coats walking down dark alleys.

Aragorn, you are a cat after my own heart! I always believed in showing the dogs, and everyone else, who is boss!

I ran outside and chased away a neighbor's dog once. It was a chihuahua and it was barking at Mom as she was coming inside. I couldn't have that.
It's almost Mom's bedtime so Coco and I need to go now. This has been a pawsome and spooky Halloween party and we've had a blast!
Good night and Happy Halloween, kitties (and Rosco)!

Those old 30s and 40s detective/crime movies are great. Bogart, Cagney, Robinson, all those guys.
I think I've recommended the book Sam the Cat Detective before? It's written for older children, but I got it after I saw how highly parents and grandparents rate it.
Sam the Cat is a Sam Spade/Philip Marlowe type of detective. The book is written as if Chandler or Hammett were writing it. Mama laughed a lot. There are four books in the series. The first one is the best, but the others are are very good too, especially the third one, The Maltese Kitten.
So much fun to read, because it's such an excellent takeoff on the old detective books.

Felix, good for you for chasing off that dog!
Remember a few years ago, the video of that cat chasing off the pitbull who tried to attack her four year old human?
Good night, Felix and Coco! Sweet pumpkin dreams!

Yes, Aetheling, I remember you posting about that. Mom hardly reads books anymore. It's this computer thing that pulls her away from reading books. Don't know if it's a good thing or not.

Oh, Felix, yes, Rosco says good night, too! 🐶
Abbie and family, I did not see you there! Happy Halloween! 🎃 Rosco says happy Halloween to you as well! 🎃
Apollo, I know. It's sad to wait another whole year before dressing up again.
Although, I am in Catscouts, like Timmy Tomcat is. We dress in a different theme costume every month for the monthly birthday party. That's fun. As well as costumes for going on trips.

Well, Mom hasn't looked for a free photoshop program to work on some of our pictures. Her old one that she liked doesn't work with the newer computer programs. So these Halloween costumes we have are when we were much younger. I could use something more than just sitting on this motorcycle.

We do have great masks for our Mardi Gras pictures, though.

You look quite dashing sitting on your motorcycle, though.
Mama likes to use the PicsArt app on her iPhone. She actually finds it faster and simpler to edit pictures using that on her iPhone than on any of the free ones she can use on a computer. Unfortunately, PicsArt isn't available on a computer. Timmy Tomcat told me about PicsArt when I joined cat scouts, and I'm so grateful to him for telling me about it! And Timmy told me I could set it up to use it either online or off-line, because I have limited gigabyte data on the iPhone. So I use it off-line. And it works great.

Your whole family has great Halloween pictures I enjoy seeing you all in them.
But I know what you mean, you get tired of using the same ones year after year.
